TRAVELS

Caramoan Part 2: Itinerary and Gota Village Resort

10:21 AM

For our travel we have 3days/2nights. Going to Caramoan will be by land or by plane. We opted not to get package tour. We just make a research on this trip, went on our own and contacted the hotel and boatman directly.

I'd like to take this opportunity to thank the bloggers because through there we found our way and we got to know who's to contact for island hopping and the budget, it's really helpful

Our itinerary:

Date of Travel September 15 to 17 2013
Via: Naga (PAL Express)

Day 1: NAGA Centro only (This was not the plan but we didn't have any options due to flight delayed for two times. If one is not able to reach Sabang Port by 2PM you will take the next day trip as the banca from Sabang to Guijalo Port last trip is 2PM.)

Day 2: Naga to Caramoan

5:30 - Left Naga Hotel in the Centro via tricycle and went to SM City Naga Terminal (Php 8/pax)

6:00 - 7:30 AM - Van from Naga to Sabang Port* (Php 100/pax) - 1.5 hrs travel

7:30 - 8:00 AM - At the Sabang Port, there's a registration area. All the people who will take the banca to Guijalo Port should register first. After registration, one may now proceed to the banca. There's a queue going up to the banca. The locals made the improvised bridge so that the people will not get wet as they get in the banca. I found it really strange because that bridge is movable and the locals wearing blue shirt, are the one moving the improvised bridge from the shore to the banca and vice versa. I just thought why not make a permanent one or if not allowed people should walk nalang.

8:00 - 10:00 AM - Banca from Sabang Port to Guijalo Port* (Php 120/pax) - 2 hrs travel

10:00 - 10:30 AM -
From Guijalo Port take a tricycle /van to Paniman Beach/Gota Village Resort - 30 mins. travel
Will pay Php 30/pax for the environmental fee. For the tricycle we are two pax and the tricycle driver told us that bahala na kami but usually they charged Php 300 per trip to Paniman Beach. We gave Php 300 nalang mabait naman sya e, plus may extra service pa dinaan kami sa bayan to buy food since we had not took breakfast yet.

10:30 - 11:30 AM - When we reached Kuya Ramil's house (he owned the banca and his house is near lang sa Paniman Beach) we just rested for a moment and took our brunch as they are preparing the boat for island hopping. That time, we didn't meet Kuya Ramil, her wife entertained us and turned over us to Kuya Sonny, our boatman/tour guide (cousin of Kuya Ramil).

11:30 - 2:30 PM - Island Hopping. We took the short trip which includes the following islands: Minilahos, Lahus, Matukad, Hunongan Cove and Gota for Php 1,500. For the long trip, it's a whole day and will cost Php 3,000.

2:30 PM - We checked in at Gota Village Resort, stayed for the night and went back to Manila the following day. If you will stay at Gota Village Resort they offer lots of activities which includes Island Hopping, Kayaking, ATV and many more just check their website and the contact person who is very helpful is Mr. Resty, the manager.
