TRAVELS

Seoul, South Korea

Anneyeonghaseyo!

Before the year ends sana, I want to make habol this post. Kaso 2015 na ng ma post. Anyways, better late than never. Travelled with the team last April 5 to 9, 2014. It was the time when the season was changing from winter to spring.

Let me walk you through to this trip.

Day 1 - Nami Island, Mt. Seorak, Gwomgungsung Fortress by cable car, Shinheungsa Temple and Teddy Bear Farm

The Highlight - Snowfall Experience :)

The Nami Island is so beautiful. It's far from Seoul but definitely worth the travel. This place is love. That's why I think, it's the place to be for shooting romantic scenes at Koreanovela. As if the trees, flowers and all those things there are sprinkling love all over! :)

Found this quaint coffee shop inside the Island :)

Our lunch

After lunch, we had lunch and heading to our next itinerary, the group went ecstatic to see this majestic view.

And we were so lucky, when we get off from the cable car, the snow fell :) and then we went crazy!;p

Let it snow, let it snow..let it snowwwww!!!!! :)

Their Teddy Bear Farm is so cute! Totoo pala yung nasa Koreanovela. You can see different bears wearing different clothes depending on what they do :)

After dinner, we checked in to Del Pino and had experienced sleeping in traditional Korean way - sleeping on the floor with a thick mattress. It was snowing at that night and the temperature dropped so it's pretty cold for the tropicanas like us :) But I had a good night sleep, didn't mind the cold, the floor was heated anyway and I bundled up the whole night :)

What a sight to end our first night in Seoul :)

Day 2 - Experienced making Kimchi and wearing Hanbok, went to Strawberry Farm, enjoyed the Everland Theme Park and explored Nandaemun Street

Highlight: Safari Tour when we met Liger :)

Good morning from Del Pino :)

Ikaw na ang nakashades under fluorescent light :p

Wearing traditional Korean clothing - Hanbok

My favourite part and delicious pa! Nangangamoy barbecue nag lang ;p

I'm wondering why it's like this and we just figured out among ourselves that maybe to shield the child from the coldness. That's what we thought :) but I'm not sure :)

Welcome to my kingdom, I'm Liger (Lion + Tiger)

I'm so impressed with Korean rest rooms, I admit it it's the first time I saw a complex toilet :)
How I wish we have the same thing in the Philippines.

Our group was always lucky because we always got the nice room, meaning the room located on the top floor with a nice view :) Everybody's teasing me that I there's a conspiracy. Lol!

Day 3 - Buckchon Hanok Village, Insadong Antique Street, Ginseng Center, Amethyst Factory, Cosmetic Shop, Dongdaemun Market and Lotte Mart

Highlight: COSMETIC Shopping and DIY packing of our groceries @ Lotte Mart :)
