TRAVELS

My Bucketlist

5:28 PM

As I've always been saying, there's one DREAM that will not pass through time or as I age or even if my expenses will multiply two-fold because of having a family in the future. Perhaps, it will be suspended for a period of time if money is an issue but then I'm pretty sure I will not give up on this thing. To see and experience the WORLD is my LIFELONG DREAM.

I believe each place and country is unique of it's kind. And I want to see, explore and experience a lot of it. But considering the budget, I think it's better if I should narrow down my choices and come up with a list of things I REALLY want to pursue. Why? Reality check. Apart from travelling, there's a lot of things I need to spend on.

So here's my BUCKET LIST before I grow old enough to put premiums on TRAVEL and young at heart to laugh it all out while hopping from one place to another, carrying my own luggage :)

1. Spend Christmas in Europe
There's this feeling of awe whenever I see pictures of Europe during Christmas. It makes me think  and feel that dude I wanna spend Christmas there too. I see myself rummaging old markets, trying different sausages, eating gingerbreads, drinking beer and wine. Or just watching the locals while singing  "Chestnuts roasting on an open fire Jack Frost nipping at your nose Yuletide carols being sung by a choir.."

Munich, Germany

Christmas Market in Prague, Czech Republic

 Vienna, Austria

2. Celebrate New Year's Eve in New York City
I think this is the most happening place during New Year's Eve. I want to witness the ball (filled with sticky notes of people's hopes and dreams) drops as the clock strikes twelve. Bright lights, people all pumped up... Really, the idea really bring sparkle in my eyes. What a way to start a New Year filled with hope, laughter and sparkle!

3. Pose in front of Giza Pyramids
Nine years ago this is my ultimate dream - to visit Egypt, to see the Pyramids. I'm kinda history freak. I indulge myself through reading history books and researching how people lived during early civilisations.

4. Explore Latin America
I'm not sure if I can go backpacking around South America as what I've seen in most travel blogs. But definitely, I will travel to South America. I've read and seen in television and blogs how rich their culture is as evident in their food and art. Someday I will visit Peru, Argentina, Chile, Bolivia, Ecuador and Brazil.

 Machu Picchu, Peru

 Salt Flat, Bolivia

 Buenos Aires, Argentina

5.  Visit Vatican, Rome, Italy
As a Roman Catholic, I want to visit the Vatican and I hope for the possibility to attend mass presided by the Pope.

6. Rent a Glass Igloo in Finland and watch the Northern Lights

I think this will be ONE-of-the-BEST-NIGHTS ever. So cool right?! :)

7. Ride a Hot Air Balloon in Bagan, Myanmar
I really hope God will permit good weather during my visit. I love to ride during sunrise - I think the beauty I will see is beyond imaginable.

That would be my Lucky Seven. Why Seven? It's my favourite number and the one I've considered as my LUCKY number.

Many thanks to Pinterest, the credit goes to all the people who captured and posted the beautiful sceneries and all those wonderful stuff in Pinterest.

I'm 29 as of this writing and my projection of completion on this project would be 10 to 20 years.  I'm 49 by that time, I'm really old by then and I really HOPE that I will make it in TIME.
